Pagosa Springs is a snowy mountain town in Colorado. It is home to some of the state’s best hot springs and skiing. I tried some of the town’s most delicious food during my visit, including Pagosa Springs’s farm-to-table restaurant, Meander Riverside Eatery.

Discover Meander Riverside Eatery, a fresh addition to upscale farm-to-table dining. Meander focuses on crafting a dynamic menu that reflects the seasons using locally sourced ingredients, all within a relaxed riverside setting.
Executive Chef Jason Jacobs will change the menu depending on what ingredients are available in season.
The food here was incredible, and visiting Pagosa Springs was a complete surprise. Typically, Colorado’s mountain towns do not offer high-quality restaurants. This restaurant was both high-quality and very affordable for the food you get.

The food below is what I had during my visit. Please note that the menu changes frequently depending on the season.
Starter
Our starter was a Paté En Croute dish, a French charcuterie consisting of a meat-based pâté or forcemeat wrapped in a golden baked pastry dough. The filling includes finely or coarsely ground meat, poultry or game, and vegetables.
Our dish was served with delicious fresh green beans, pickles, and shallots.
Mains
Our first main dish at Meander Riverside Eatery was the Crispy Confit Duck Leg, served with fresh and local vegetables.
The second main we ordered was the Cast Iron Chicken, ‘tartiflette,’ served with SLV potatoes, house bacon, reblochon, confit onions, curly kale, and lemon vinnie.
Cocktails
To start our meal, we also had some cocktails. We got the Hippy Dip Martini, which has Lee Spirits Vodka, Castelvetrano Olives and Brine, and Grappa Wash.
Each dish has a recommended glass of wine to pair with it, which was such a nice touch.
Delectable Desserts
The desserts at Meander were mouthwatering. We were so full that we decided to do a light Ice Cream to end the meal.
When is Meander Riverside Eatery Open?
They are open from 4:00 to 8:30, Wednesday through Saturday. It is the perfect place to enjoy dinner.

We made reservations for Meander. It is a small yet cozy restaurant, so that spots can fill quickly. You can book a reservation here.
