There is nothing better than discovering an old drive-in restaurant. They can be rare these days, so when I come across one, I know I have to stop and try it for myself. As soon as I saw Pleasant River Drive-In during my trip through Columbia Falls, I knew I had to visit. Here is everything you need to know.

Pleasant River Drive-In in Columbia Falls is a seasonal take-out restaurant loved by locals and tourists. They serve up amazing ice cream, seafood, and of course, a lobster roll.

Ice Cream At Pleasant River Drive In

There were so many visitors enjoying their delicious ice cream. Whether you want a soft serve cone or a classic sundae, they’ve got you covered. Just place your order at the window and head to the pickup window.

The Libby Lobster Roll

I came here for one thing: the Libby Lobster Roll! The roll was packed with fresh lobster, caught nearby and dressed in a light, chilled, and refreshing mayo. The mayo on the lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had yet. The roll was lightly toasted, and I could hear the satisfying crunch when I bit into the ends.

It was classic yet refreshing, thanks to the freshly caught lobster and flavorful mayo.

We also got the haddock sandwich and curly fires. Both were delicious and inhaled within minutes.

When Are They Open?

They are a seasonal drive-in, meaning you can only visit them during the summer. They are open Sunday from Noon to 7 PM and Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM. The grill closes at 6:45 PM.
