Each season brings its own charm, with lush greenery in spring and summer, vibrant autumn colors, and snowy landscapes in winter. Visitors can enjoy amenities like campgrounds, picnic areas, and visitor centers for helpful information.

The L’Eperon Trail

The L’Eperon Trail is a 3.1-mile loop, that I would rate as moderate.

We set off on a crisp early fall day in late September. The leaves were not changing yet, and most were still bright green.

Hiking Guide

The first part of the hike took me through the thick forest of the National Park. We took the staircase up the trail before it opened up to stunning panoramic views of the rugged terrain and the winding Jacques-Cartier River below.

One of the most memorable moments was reaching the viewpoint at the top. The expansive views of the valley and surrounding peaks were breathtaking. I took some time to pause, soak in the scenery, and snap a few photos.

The rocky outcrop at this spot provided a dramatic backdrop and was the perfect place for a well-deserved rest.
