The World’s Largest Lobster Trap
The trap stands proudly along the roadside, making it an easy and convenient stop for travelers. You can find the trap at Friendship Trap Company, which is located on the side of Highway 1 in Columbia Falls.

The trap is 15 feet by 6 feet by 45 inches! They put it together as a fun photo stop for those traveling through Maine, and I can confirm, they succeeded.

You can even crawl inside the lobster trap to take pictures!

The trap is custom-made and three times bigger than a standard five-foot trap. You can even check out the smaller traps on the side of the world’s biggest lobster trap to see the difference.
It was a unique and fun stop in Columbia Falls, and honestly, it made our road trip.
