It is no secret that West Hollywood is filled with trendy restaurants. I had difficulty choosing one when planning my night out in West Hollywood. But sitting behind an old hardware store door was a restaurant I had to try before leaving California.

Laurel Hardware

Laurel Hardware is a popular West Hollywood spot known for its trendy atmosphere, creative cocktails, and upscale American cuisine. The venue is situated in a former hardware store, hence the name and it retains some of the industrial-chic elements in its design.

Laurel Hardware has gained a reputation by being a hidden restaurant that serves up some of the most delicious food. The menu typically features a variety of dishes ranging from small plates and appetizers to hearty entrees, emphasizing fresh, seasonal ingredients and innovative flavors.

The Tasty Food & Creative Cocktails

Both the food and cocktails were outstanding! You honestly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

We started with their Fried Burrata served with pine nut romesco and homemade focaccia, which we paired with a refreshing California Rose.

We shared the Duck Fried Rice for the main course, served with a sunny-side-up egg. edamame. bok choy. cilantro. This entree was delicious and gluten-free, which is suitable for those with allergies.

Our main course was paired with a Lavender Margarita with a maestro doable diamante, combiner, lavender & lemon. There is an option to add a swirl of Malbec wine, too!

The other drink was a Sakura Fizz, served with Tito’s Vodka, lychee, agricole, yuzu, citrus & soda. All topped with a beautiful flower.

They also have a variety of pizzas you can try. They serve a Margherita Pizza with tomato. basil. buffalo mozzarella and a Classic Pizza served with pepperoni. rosette. pickled jalapeno. I would have gotten one if I had more room during my visit.

This restaurant books up and quick! I could get a reservation for one of their outdoor tables, which was lovely. Book on their website before coming.

Where Is Laurel Hardware?

The restaurant is in West Hollywood on Santa Monica Boulevard. Even on a Friday Night, Street Parking was easy to grab.

When Are They Open?

Their current hours are Monday – Wednesday 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Thursday – Friday 6:00 PM- 12:00 AM, Saturday Lunch 12:00 PM – 5p:00 PM Dinner 6:00 PM -12:00 AM, Sunday Lunch 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Dinner 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

Happy Hour is daily from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

We went for dinner but came a few minutes early to grab one drink on Happy Hour!

Laurel Hardware was my favorite spot in West Hollywood. Not only was it delicious, but it was also a fun environment in an industrial space that had charming decor.
