It is no secret that Hawaii is home to some of the best beaches in the world, including the turquoise blue waters of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. Nothing goes better with a sunny, relaxing beach day than a tropical cocktail! Waikiki is known for its overpriced beach bars, but there was one place worth every penny: Koa Oasis Booze Shack.
Koa Oasis Booze Shack
We accidentally found Koa Oasis Booze Shack when walking from Dukes Surf Shop back to Hilton Hawaiin Village. It was right along the route, nestled against the water.

We saw people drinking these tropical ice-cold beverages, which complemented the scorching 100-degree heat wave.
Koa Oasis Booze Shack Cocktails
They have so many unique and tasty cocktails to try! My favorite was the The Hale Koa Mai Tai and it lived up to the hype.
The Hale Koa Mai Tai is filled with light and dark rums, orange liqueur, and pineapple juice.

Don’t skip on the Sunset Lemonade, which has gin, lychee liquor, lemonade, and strawberry puree, yum! Pair it with a beach sunset for a true experience.
You can also try the famous Pina Colada, filled with rum or vodka blended with coconut cream and pineapple juice.

You can’t go wrong with any of their tropical cocktails! I am sure you could get them without alcohol, too; ask!
How Much Are The Tropical Cocktails?
Like most things in Hawaii, I was expecting the cocktails to be overpriced, but at Koa Oasis Booze Shack, that wasn’t the case at all.
The tropical cocktails are only $12.50 each for the Public and $10 if you have a Military ID.
When Is The Booze Shack Open?
The shack operates daily from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It’s a perfect place to cool off after a day enjoying the ocean.
Where Is Koa Oassi Booze Shack Located?
The booze shack is off the beach on the Diamond Head side of Hale Koa Hotel.
