Vignoble Isle de Bacchus
Established in 1982 in Saint-Pierre de l’Île d’Orléans, the Isle de Bacchus vineyard has been iconic in Quebec.
The vineyard, named after Jacques Cartier in 1535 due to its abundant wild vines, spans 11 hectares on the island. Over 30 years of experience have honed their expertise, ensuring the production of high-quality products adapted to Quebec’s climate.
The Isle de Bacchus estate vines extend over three distinct plots in the village of Saint-Pierre, totaling nearly 35,000 vines.
Visiting The Winery
When we visited, we felt nothing more than welcome. After enjoying a tasting at x, we made it to the last winery stop of the day, which was timed perfectly with the sunset.

Enjoy a lovely tasting at an outdoor picnic table overlooking the vineyard. Pair your wine flight with charcuterie and cheese platters featuring various Quebec cheeses.
Their main grape varieties are Vandal-cliche, Holy Cross, Geisenheim, Marshal Foch, Eona, Vidal, Acadia white, White Frontenac, and Marquette. Let me tell you, they were all delicious!
Make sure to try a tasting of the Brut of Bacchus, a traditional sparkling wine method that was the first in the vineyard.
Where Is Vignoble Isle de Bacchus?
The winery is located on the charming l’île d’Orléans in Quebec, Canada.
Make sure to visit Ste-Pétronille Winery, which has the most mouthwatering pizza.
I recommend visiting Quebec City’s Oyster Bar & Speakeasy during your visit. There is another Elegant Speakeasy That Is Hidden In A Hotel in Quebec City too!
You can also try Canada’s Tasty Pastry: BeaverTails!
