One of my favorite parts of Paris was the endless amounts of tasty bakeries in Paris we passed during our journey. As we turned every corner, the air was filled with freshly baked baguettes in Paris and pastries. I will review my favorite pastry shops we visited during our trip to Paris!
The Best Bakeries in Paris
I tried all of these pastries at some of the best patisseries in Paris, and here are my favorites!
1. Les Gourmandises d’Eiffel
📍87 Rue de Grenelle, 7th Arr.
One of my favorite must-try Parisian bakeries is Les Gourmandises d’Eiffel! The bakery is just a quick ten-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower.
We popped in here on our way back from Rue Cler and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options.

We chose to try the Creme Brule, which was surprisingly delicious as we ate it cold. We enjoyed it on our walk back to the Eiffel Tower, which was a beautiful combination!
It was a quick walk from the hotel. You can read about it here: The Best Hotel In Paris With An Eiffel Tower View!
2. Pain Pain
📍88 rue des Martyrs – 75018 Paris
A Paris Favorite, Pain Pain is located near Montmartre’s beautiful hilly street.
This stop is one of the many famous French bakeries in Paris and I am going to show you why.

Pain Pain is recognized as a tourist hotspot and a reliable neighborhood bakery for locals and tourists. Each day, they happily transition between these two worlds.

Their pastries were beautiful! Of course, we tried a buttery croissant and hot chocolate during our visit.
They were so delicious and I enjoyed them walking back to the 6th from Montmarte.

I wish I spent more than a day in Montmartre. It was one of my favorite places in Paris.

3. Maison Bergeron
📍112 Rue Saint-Dominique
One block from Rue Cler, Paris’ charming cobblestone market, is Maison Bergeron, one of my favorite Paris dessert spots.

This charming bakery is known for its dedication to traditional French pastry-making techniques and high-quality ingredients.

Maison Bergeron offers a delectable selection of cakes, tarts, macarons, croissants, and other sweet treats, each crafted with precision and artistry by skilled pastry chefs.

We ate a few things here. Glazed and delicious, the first pastry was filled with light pistachios and raisins.

We also got the “Pain au Chocolatine,” known as “Pigs in a Blanket” in English. It’s a savory snack in which a hot dog or sausage is wrapped in puff pastry dough and baked until golden brown.
It’s no wonder why Maison Bergeron is rated the best bakery in Paris.
They are known for having some of the best baguettes in Paris too!

4. Coco Bello
📍17 Rue Lepic, 75018 Paris, France
While Ladurée is constantly rated the best Macaron in Paris, many other options exist.
Coco Bello in Montmartre gave them a run for their money. They had so many exciting and delicious Macaroons in Paris.

We tried the Annanas and the Peach Vanilla. The flavors were fun and colorful and a bright change from some of the other macaroon shops we saw in France.

They also offer a variety of Gelato. The pastry shop matched the lively vibe of Montmartre perfectly.

5. Boulangerie Maison DESVAUX
📍17 Rue Lepic, 75018 Paris, France
While the palace and small village of Versailles are not located directly in Paris, many tourists visit here as a day trip.
If you find yourself in Versailles, there is one bakery you have to try, Boulangerie Maison DESVAUX.

Here, we tried this stunning Pistachio Eclair. It was filled with creamy goodness.

I also purchased a box of their macaroons, which I enjoyed at the hotel. They were the best I had on the entire trip, including Ladurée.
We stopped here during our Bike Tour of Versailles, which I highly recommend.
