I visited the Champagne region in France this past spring, starting in Reims and ending in Épernay—a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. During my visit, I had the pleasure of dining at one of the prettiest brunch spots I’ve ever seen, En Aparthé. Here’s everything you need to know about the best brunch in Reims, France.
En Aparthé
At En Aparthé, all the treats are homemade, crafted with fresh, seasonal products, and in collaboration with local partners such as Le Clos Simon and La Petite Vilette, a baker based in Bétheny. The tea room in Reims takes pride in its carefully selected teas from Dammann Frères, a renowned French tea brand. Guests can purchase these teas in bulk or in bags to enjoy at home.
Every day, the talented pastry chef, Alexandra, prepares a variety of different treats. With a new pastry lab recently added, the team continually explores innovative ways to delight guests. Matcha enthusiasts will find plenty to love, with unique recipes like pink matcha, coconut, violet, and the current favorite: roasted hazelnut matcha. Additionally, they offer a lactose-free alternative with vegetable milk.
My eyes lit up as we approached the front of En Aparthé, the bright-colored flowers lining the exterior.

Brunch At En Aparthé
As soon as we entered the friendly staff sat at a table near the window, where we ordered our brunch.

The Cafe
First, we needed some caffeine to start our day and to keep us awake for all of the Champagne tastings we had planned for the day.
We ordered a Matcha and Vanilla Latte to start. Both drinks were topped with fresh flowers.

The Brunch Entrees At En Aparthé
The list of entrees was amazing and it was hard to choose what to order. I had the Avocado Toast, which had country bread, pepper tapenade, crushed avocado, zaatar, ricotta, pomegranates, almonds, soft-boiled egg and hollandaise sauce and a bouquet of salad.

Then we also got The Foufou, which had croque style, brioche bread, cheddar, avocado, spinach, fried onions, bacon, and a salad bouquet.

Even though we were so full, we simply couldn’t leave without trying one of their slices of pie It was out of this world and the perfect ending to our brunch.
