BKK In The Alley
I randomly came across BKK in the Alley while searching for the best cocktails in town. As I scrolled through the options, nothing impressed me until I saw the pictures of BKK. I knew we had to check it out, so we walked toward Church Street and turned into the alley.

I had no idea what to expect, but as soon as I walked in, I knew we made the right choice. The bar was decked out in spooky Halloween decor, a perfect fit for our fall trip to Vermont.
First Impressions!
We were greeted warmly by the host, who led us to the bar. We had dinner reservations later, and I immediately regretted not dining there because the food smelled amazing and looked delicious too. But we were ready to try a few of their creative cocktails.
As soon as we walked in I was so impressed by the Halloween Decor! It reminded me of one of my favorite cocktail bars in Boston, which you can read about here: The Best Halloween Cocktails in Boston Are at Shore Leave!

The Creative Cocktails at BKK In The Alley
Choosing a cocktail was tough since they had seasonal Halloween drinks like an IV bag and classic favorites.
They’re also the first and only bar in Vermont to feature cocktails with aromatic infused bubbles, which they use in a cocktail carbonating system!
‘For my first pick, I had to go with the Yin & Yang, made with spiced rum, pineapple, roasted black sesame, coconut, and ruby port, and the It’s Not Cheesy, It’s Strawberry Cheesecake, which had Barrhill gin, Licor 43, Greek yogurt, strawberry lactic acid, caviar, CO2, and cream cheese espuma.

The flavors were explosive!
Little did we know, the head mixologist would serve us! She was incredibly helpful in explaining the drinks. I love chatting about cocktails and food, and how they’re made. To me, it’s like visiting an art gallery—only better because I can taste it!
We had time for one more round before dinner, and I had to try their signature drink, the Mango Told Me, made with Barrhill gin, Yellow Chartreuse, citrus oil, mango lactic acid, and aromatic bubbles.

This drink was incredibly fun! The mixologist set the bubble right on top for me to pop, making my night. The flavor was out of this world—honestly, one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.
This was paired with the Drinking Jutsu, made with Roku gin, agave, cherry blossom syrup, salted Sakura, and cava. The Sakura on top elevated this already amazing drink, highlighting the cherry blossom trees.

Whether you’re in town or looking for the best cocktails in Vermont, you must visit BKK in the Alley. Next time we’re in Vermont, we’ll be back to try more. I could have stayed there all night!
