While exploring the vineyards of Épernay, I stumbled upon Les 3 Domaines—a Champagne House in Epernay. This place is rich with history and tradition, giving you an inside look at how some of the best champagne is made. My visit wasn’t just about tasting champagne; it was about learning about the Champagne region of France.

Les 3 Domaines
The champagne house features champagne from three different estates. Patrick Boivin, Vincent Testulat, and Janisson-Baradon.

Patrick Boivin began with the vision of Marie-Madeleine and Patrick, now being passed to their daughters, who are committed to preserving their land cultivated with three Champagne grape varieties.
Vincent Testulat’s legacy traces back to Napoleon III’s reign, with five generations maintaining the house’s signature style.

Finally, Janisson-Baradon, founded in 1922, continues to produce champagne on the hills of Épernay with a focus on environmentally friendly practices.
Their tasting room is open all year round with both indoor and outdoor seating.
Les 3 Domaines Champagne Tasting
Here we were able to do a Champagne Tasting that featured champagne from three different estates, Patrick Boivin, Vincent Testulat, and Janisson-Baradon. Patrick Boivin.

First, we did the Trilogy Discovery, which featured three white champagnes made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Each glass was from a different estate.

Next, we had the Trilogy Rosé, which was perfect for a beautiful spring day in Champagne.

They were quite affordable at about 25 Euro Each.
Food Menu
Since we were sipping a lot of Champagne, we decided to order some snacks to keep us fueled up for the day. Their food menu was extensive and paired perfectly with the Champagne.
We had the cheese plate, escargot, and some salty potato chips. Potato chips, in my opinion, are the best accompaniment for Champagne!
