Snowport in Boston is one of my favorite places to visit during the winter because the whole area feels festive. This year, a few viral treats kept showing up everywhere. So, I decided to try them for myself and see what all the hype was about. Some were exactly what I hoped for, and others surprised me in the best way.

4 Viral Foods to Try at Snowport Boston

Here is everything I ate at Snowport Boston this winter!

1. Hot Chocolate–Filled Croissant from Lakon Paris

Lakon Paris is one of Boston’s most popular bakeries, and once you taste their pastries, you will know why.

Their Snowport booth always draws a crowd with all of their festive pastries.

They had plenty of fun treats this year, like the Hot Chocolate Cube and the Chocolate Peppermint croissant.

But I came for one thing only, the hot chocolate–filled croissant.

It’s a warm, freshly baked croissant that gets filled right in the center with rich hot chocolate.

Then topped with whipped cream and chocolate pearls.

Not only was the hot chocolate amazing, but the croissant itself was just as delicious!

Especially at the end, when the croissant soaked up all the melted chocolate.

It’s the kind of treat that makes wandering Snowport in the cold completely worth it.

2. Raclette Sandwich from Baked Cheese Haus

Baked Cheese Haus is famous for their raclette sandwiches, and you can smell the melted cheese long before you reach the booth.

They heat a giant wheel of raclette under a warmer until it bubbles and browns.

Then they scrape the melted layer right onto a toasted baguette.

It’s fun to watch and somehow makes the sandwich taste even better.

The cheese is melty and gooey, and it pairs perfectly with the scallions and the sauce they add on top.

It’s rich, cozy, and exactly the kind of food you want on a chilly day at Snowport.

3. Unicorn Hot Chocolate from The Fat Cactus

The Fat Cactus is known for its over-the-top hot chocolates, and its Snowport booth is easy to spot with its bright colors and nonstop line.

Every drink they make looks like it was designed for Instagram, and I had to try the Unicorn Hot Chocolate.

It comes piled high with whipped cream, sprinkles, and frosted animal crackers, which make it feel more like a dessert than a drink.

4. Gingerbread Cookie from Half Cookie

Half Cookie is known for its thick, gooey cookies, and its Snowport booth had a steady line of people waiting to try the holiday flavors.

I went for the gingerbread cookie, and it ended up being one of my favorite treats of the day.

The outside had that perfect soft bite, and the inside was warm and almost melty.

So every bite tasted like fresh gingerbread straight out of the oven.

It was sweet, cozy, and exactly what I wanted on a cold winter afternoon.
