There is a lavish speakeasy hidden in downtown Quebec City. This Canadian hot spot has some of the city’s most creative cocktails, and I was lucky enough to visit during my list trip.

Le Bijou

This speakeasy-style restaurant is in Monsieur Jean Hôtel Particular and serves some of the best cocktails in town.

From the moment you walk in, you will enjoy the lively decor, which includes red leather couches and art pieces throughout.

The lounge area is perfect for relaxing and sipping one of their original cocktails or fine wines. Grab a spot by the window to admire the view of St-Jean Street.

When it comes to cocktails, they have got you covered. There are so many creative options that it was hard to choose which one to try.

I had the Quack-Tail, a coconut and pineapple take on the traditional Piña Colada. Monsieur Jean’s iconic duck lounges alongside you!

In addition to cocktails, they also have a variety of tasty food options. Depending on your mood, you can come for cocktails, lunch, or dinner.

Enjoy a Charcuterie Board with homemade chicken liver mousse, cured meats and artisanal sausage, pickled vegetables, and salted nuts.

The restaurant welcomes you for lunch from 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. and for a memorable evening from 4:00 p.m.
