The restaurant is housed in a beautiful 19th-century rowhouse, which adds to its cozy and romantic atmosphere. Some of their signature dishes include homemade pasta, risotto, seafood, and various meat dishes, all expertly crafted by their talented culinary team.

Dining At Mamma Maria

As we walked up to Mamma Maria, the charming vibe from the outdoors made it look anything but a touristy restaurant.

The dining room is breathtaking, and you will feel its Italian decor as soon as you walk in.

Our meal began with homemade bread, olives, and tasty pesto, which made the trip immediately worth it.

For the main course, I had to try the rabbit pasta, a rabbit cooked Tuscan style with pappardelle pasta and fresh veggies.

We also got the seafood special, topped with squid ink pasta. The seafood was fresh, and you could tell were near the Boston Harbor.

In addition to its delicious food, Mamma Maria boasts an extensive wine list featuring Italian and international selections curated to complement the flavors of the cuisine.

We paired a bottle with our dinner, accepting our waiter’s recommendation.

When Is Mamma Maria Open?

They are open Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the dining experience extends a bit earlier, with hours from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Where Can I Park?

If you drive to Boston, you can utilize their Valet service, available Monday through Sunday and costs $30 per car.

So was visiting Mamma Maria’s worth it? Yes, the restaurant’s dishes were mouthwatering, fresh with Italian roots.

But is it the best in Boston? I don’t think it’s the best, but that might be because I prefer more hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurants.
