2. Peppers Landing

Peppers Landing has several locations across Maine, including in Brunswick and Ogunquit, and is the perfect spot for enjoying a Maine lobster roll this winter.

Their lobster roll, filled with generous portions of Maine lobster and served in a perfectly toasted bun, stands out.
Winter diners can enjoy a peaceful experience at any of their locations, cozying up indoors to savor the flavors of Maine’s best seafood.

I tried one of their fried lobster rolls, which was a special of the month!
However I visit all year log when I am craving a fresh lobster roll close to home.
3. Port Lobster

This scenic seafood spot offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy fresh lobster by the water. But don’t worry—they also have an indoor dining area for a warmer option.

Their Lobster Roll Trio is a unique option, which I enjoyed! Offering three mini lobster rolls in different kinds of butter: lemon butter, spicy honey butter, and truffle butter.

The truffle butter was my favorite, and I’ll be sure to order a larger portion next time!
5. Highroller Lobster Co.
Location: Portland
The Highroller Lobster Co., known for serving one of the best lobster rolls in Portland, Maine, continues to be a top spot even in the winter.
What started as a food cart in 2015 by founders Andy Gerry and Baxter Key has grown into a beloved brick-and-mortar restaurant, opening its doors at 104 Exchange Street in December 2017.

Their lobster roll, available in both full and half sizes, is packed with fresh, flavorful lobster that will warm you up on a cold winter day. Whether you’re enjoying it on-site or grabbing it to-go, you’re in for a treat.
The lobster on a stick is another unique option that is a must-try.
