It is no secret that I love lobster rolls, and Maine serves some of the best in the world. I was lucky enough to get a lobster roll during the Lobster Shack at Two Lights opening 2024 weekend. This spot gets packed in the summer and usually has a line out the door. Here is your guide to the Lobster Shack at Two Lights!

The Lobster Shack At Two Lights

The shack is near Two Lights State Park in Cape Elizabeth, an area that provides some of the best ocean views in the state. It is hidden down a small residential road and sits atop towering cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Lobster Shack is an award-winning restaurant that has been a local landmark since the 1920s.

Pulling up, you will see the large staircase with a sign that says Lobster Shack Restaurant. That is when you know you made it!

As you walk up the stairs, stay to the right and get in line to order. Sometimes, the line can be wrapped around the entire outside area. But it moves quickly, and the views are hard to beat on a summer day.

I got the Lobster Roll Boat, which was packed with fresh lobster, a tangy sauce, lettuce, and fresh pickle.

It was affordable compared to other lobster rolls in Maine, and the size was perfect for one person.
