Pepper’s Landing Fried Lobster Roll

A fried lobster roll is a variation of the traditional lobster roll. It typically features lobster meat served in a toasted buttery roll. The lobster meat is coated in batter or breadcrumbs and deep-fried before being placed in the roll. This preparation adds a crispy texture to the succulent lobster meat.

You can try it by visiting Pepper’s Landing in Maine this June since it’s their Lobster Roll of the Month!

They constantly serve fantastic seafood, and I visit often. On Wednesdays, I take advantage of their $1 oysters and happy hour specials. But during June, they are serving up a fried Lobster Roll, and I got to try it for myself this past weekend.

Pepper’s Landing Fried Lobster Roll

It features Fresh Maine lobster lightly battered and fried on a buttered brioche roll with lettuce and fire-roasted tomato aioli. It was delicious, and I enjoyed every bite. The lobster did not taste overly fried; in fact, it was lightly fried, and I tasted the fresh lobster more than anything else.

You can pair your lobster roll with one of their spring cocktails or a delicious Peppers Champ beer. You can’t go wrong with either.

Whether you are in Maine for a vacation or live in vacationland full time, visiting Pepper’s Landing any time of the year is an absolute must!
