Here’s what you need to know before planning a visit to Benjamin Bridge Winery.
Benjamin Bridge Winery in Nova Scotia
When it comes to world-class sparkling wines in Canada, one name stands out—Benjamin Bridge.
Located in Nova Scotia’s stunning Gaspereau Valley, this winery has gained international recognition for producing Méthode Classique sparkling wines that rival those from Champagne.
Benjamin Bridge isn’t just another winery in Nova Scotia—it’s a pioneer in Canadian sparkling wine.

I visited Benjamin Bridge during my Magic Winery Bus Tour of Nova Scotia’s Wineries!
Why Is Benjamin Bridge So Special?
The winery’s reputation has grown so much that even top sommeliers and wine critics praise their sparkling wines as some of the best outside of France.
Here is why!

- Their sparkling wines are of Champagne quality. Made in the traditional Méthode Classique, their bubbles are elegant, complex, and crisp.
- They put Nova Scotia on the wine map. Before Benjamin Bridge, the region wasn’t widely recognized for wine. Now, it’s Canada’s answer to Champagne!
- They focus on sustainability. Their vineyards are certified organic, and they’re passionate about protecting the environment.
I was lucky enough to visit Champagne in France. I also did the Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Tour!
