I love hiking trails that are easy to reach but still feel peaceful and full of color, and the Les Ruisseaux Trail in Mont-Tremblant ended up being just that. I hiked it during my fall visit when the leaves were changing. It was the perfect kind of afternoon walk between exploring the village.

The Les Ruisseaux Trail in Mont-Tremblant

The Les Ruisseaux Trail is a 2 km loop hike in Mont-Tremblant, taking about 45–60 minutes.

With only 82 meters of elevation gain.

It’s an easy, family-friendly trail that winds through the forest with small streams, wooden bridges, and a peaceful waterfall.

It’s one of the best short scenic hikes near Mont-Tremblant village, especially in the fall when the foliage in Mont-Tremblant is at its brightest.

My Fall Hike on the Les Ruisseaux Trail

The trail starts right by the Skyline Luge Mont-Tremblant, a fun landmark near the village.

As you head up the dirt path, you’ll quickly feel tucked into the quiet Mont-Tremblant forest.

The wooden footbridge and small waterfall make it one of the most photogenic waterfall trails in Mont-Tremblant.

You can branch off to the right for an extra loop through the forest, but we decided to keep climbing the second wooden staircase.

It brings you deeper into the trees before opening up to one of the best views in Mont-Tremblant.

At the top, you’ll find an overlook right above the start of the Luge.

From there, you can see the entire village spread out below and colorful trees stretching in every direction.

There’s even a big red chair up top — the perfect photo spot — and several picnic tables where you can sit back, relax, and take in the view.

How Long Does the Hike Take?

The Les Ruisseaux Trail loop is a quick and easy hike, making it perfect to fit into a fall day in Mont-Tremblant.

The full loop took me about 45–60 minutes to complete at a relaxed pace.

I took my time, stopping for photos at the waterfall and again at the overlook, and still finished in just under an hour.

Whether you’re looking for an easy fall hike in Mont-Tremblant or just want a quiet walk between activities, this one fits perfectly.

What Makes Les Ruisseaux Trail So Special?

The Les Ruisseaux Trail ended up being one of my favorite little surprises in Mont-Tremblant.

It’s easy to access, short enough to enjoy without rushing, and filled with beautiful views around every turn.
