Best Restaurants In Brunswick, Maine
I tried so many places, but only a few have made the list. I should note that I still have many more to dine at.
So I will be adding the ones that earn a spot as I dine at them. For now, here is the best dining in Brunswick, Maine!
1. Bao Bao Dumpling House
Located on Pleasant St, right in downtown Brunswick, Bao Bao Dumpling House is my favorite restaurant.
They replicate a traditional Chinese dumpling house while adding their flair to classic Asian dishes using local ingredients.

They offer so much more than just dumplings, too. We tried the cucumber salad, pan-fried chicken dumplings, spicy shumai, and tasty cocktails.

Everything here is out of this world. Split a few plates while enjoying some of their innovative cocktails.
Whatever you do, do not leave without trying their chocolate banana dessert.
It was to die for! Bao Bao Dumpling House is one of the best restaurants in Brunswick, Maine!
2. The Brunswick Diner
When I walked into The Brunswick Diner in Maine, I knew I was in for a treat.
My favorite part of The Brunswick Diner is that you can order breakfast or lunch items in true diner fashion.
It is hands down the best place for brunch in Brunswick, Maine, and their tasty Bloody Mary just proves that fact further.

I wanted everything on the menu but knew I had to choose only a few things. I love lobster rolls, so of course, I decided on Miss B’s Maine Lobster Roll!
It had fresh Maine lobster lightly tossed with mayo, served with bibb lettuce on a toasted brioche bun, fries, coleslaw, and fresh lemon.

3. Flight Deck Brewing
Flight Deck Brewing is one of the best breweries in Brunswick, Maine.
It’s a brewery known for its absolutely delicious beer, so be sure to try some when you visit.
But beyond their great brews, they also serve some of the best pizza in Brunswick, Maine.

Their pizza is hand-made from start to finish, using ingredients sourced from local farmers’ markets and purchased directly from farmers in the greater Brunswick area.
They also offer a seasonal pie, so be sure to ask about it when you’re there. Visit on Thursdays for trivia all summer long and pop-ups.

From the staff to the beers, Flight Deck is my go-to spot in Brunswick and serves the best pizza in town.
Shamelessly, I eat pizza here far too often!
4. The Abbey
The Abbey is my favorite cocktail bar in Brunswick.
They serve freshly brewed coffee in the morning and, by evening, offer a creative selection of cocktails.

In addition to their drinks, which you need to try, they also serve a variety of small plates, including fresh oysters and seasonally flavored chicken wings.
They also serve an amazing brunch and a variety of creative bites and dishes!

Stop by for drinks before dinner or come in after for the best cocktails in Brunswick, Maine!

5. Fat Puppy Fusion
This place is new, and I have to be honest—it’s downright delicious.
Fat Puppy Fusion is a gourmet hot dog food truck that offers a unique twist on traditional hot dogs.
So as soon as I saw it pop up on the map, I had to check it out. You can find them at Brooks Feed & Farm at 86 Union Street.
They don’t use a traditional hot dog bun, instead, they wrap their Maine Family Farms 3-ounce hot dogs and house-made toppings in fluffy flatbread.

I tried the Glorious Mutt, which had a grilled hot dog with bacon, cheddar, and house pineapple relish.
It even landed a spot on my Top Hot Dog Spots in Maine You Need to Try in 2025
6. Taverna Khione
I love trying authentic food from other countries, and Greek cuisine has always been one of my favorites.
I’ve never had quite the experience with traditional Greek food as I did at Taverna Khione.
Their menu is filled with genuine Greek dishes, and the presentation exceeded my expectations. The taste was on a whole other level.

One of my favorite aspects of dining here was their extensive wine list of Greek wines and liquors.
It felt like we had traveled to Greece, even though we were just dining out in Brunswick.
Our dinner included Feta Saganaki—sesame-seed-crusted feta, baked and topped with Greek honey.
Taverna Khione will not disappoint if you’re looking for Greek food! It is one of the best restaurants in Brunswick, Maine!
7. Enoteca Athena
I was torn when choosing the best Greek food as Enoteca Athena truly serves some of the best around.
However, they also have a variety of Italian dishes, and their menu reflects both Greece and Italy.
Their Greek dishes are so delicious, but their pasta is what truly took my heart.

We had the Pasta Toscano, which featured fresh pasta, sundried tomatoes, spinach, and a garlic cream sauce, with pan-fried chicken added.
It was amazing and is hands down the best pasta in Brunswick, Maine!

Our meal was paired with handcrafted and creative cocktails, This unique cocktail had artichoke-infused gin, Cynar 70, cardamom, and marinated artichokes.
You also need to try their homemade desserts, including the olive oil cake!
Enoteca Athena is one of the best restaurants in Brunswick, hands down!
8. Walter’s Cafe
I love a good cafe, and Walter’s Cafe is my favorite in Brunswick. The cafe just opened a few weeks ago, and I am already hooked.
From the friendly service to the family vibes, they are doing everything right.
My favorite part is the local collaboration they have. Four organic Maine farms (Whatley, Six Rivers, Goranson, and Morning Dew) are featured as purveyors, as part of the cafe’s mission to showcase the bounty of local foods and Maine farms.

The food is out of this world! The ginger scone is my current favorite.
I have also purchased many containers of Curried Chicken Salad, which has golden raisins and grapes. You can even get it as a sandwich, served on a croissant.
You can find them at the Tontine Mall—just look for the sign out front.
9. Little Tokyo
I’m not going to lie, Brunswick has plenty of delicious sushi restaurants, and Little Tokyo is one of them.
From fresh specialty rolls to classics like Philadelphia and Spicy Tuna, they’ve got you covered.

You can even pair your meal with one of their tasty martinis or cocktails. We tried the sake martinis, one with cucumber, and they were delicious.

From the atmosphere to the amazing food, it’s truly one of the best restaurants in Brunswick, Maine!
