Meeting Our Corgi Hiking Crew
Our adventure started in Ellsworth, where we met our host, Jennifer, and the corgis we would be spending the next few hours with.
Before we hit the trail, Jennifer introduced us to the pack and taught us more about the corgi breed.

Then, before we knew it, the corgis were leading the way into the forest.
As a huge dog lover, I already knew this was going to be one of my favorite experiences in Maine.
Hiking Through the Forest With 10 Corgis
Once we entered the forest, our group of 10 corgis became our hiking companions for the day.
They explored the trail alongside us, wandering through the woods and stopping for plenty of attention along the way.

What I loved most was that we actually got to spend the entire hike with them. This wasn’t a quick meet-and-greet where you pet a few dogs, take a photo, and leave.
The corgis were part of the whole adventure.

There were plenty of opportunities for pets and kisses!
And it was so much fun getting to see each of their personalities as we made our way through the forest.
Discovering Fairy Houses Along the Trail
The corgis weren’t the only surprise hiding in the woods.
Throughout the hike, we came across tiny fairy houses tucked away along the trail, each filled with little treasures.

It added a fun and unexpected element to the experience and made exploring the forest feel even more magical.

I loved looking out for the next fairy house while following the corgis deeper into the woods.
Taking Photos Surrounded by Corgis
About halfway through the hike, we stopped for photos, which ended up being one of my favorite parts of the entire experience.
Jennifer was kind enough to take photos for us, so we didn’t have to worry about trying to capture everything ourselves.

Instead, we got to sit down and be completely surrounded by corgis.
And when I say surrounded, I mean surrounded.
Getting photos with an entire pack of corgis in the middle of the Maine woods was every bit as adorable as it sounds!
Meeting the Corgi Puppies
Just when I thought the experience couldn’t get any cuter, we finished our hike and had one final surprise waiting for us.
Corgi puppies!

We got to meet the puppies and even spend some time cuddling them.
After hiking through the forest with 10 corgis, ending the experience holding tiny corgi puppies was pretty hard to beat.

Of course, puppies may not be available during every experience, so I wouldn’t book expecting them to be guaranteed.
But getting to meet them during our visit was easily one of the highlights of the day.
